Thyroid Issues

Hypo and Hyper Thyroid

Specially for the thyroid we Test. Don't guess.

The thyroid needs to be nourished with amino acid tyrosine and iodine.

The thyroid also needs to be protected with selenium.

Production of T4 in the thyroid gland have t be transformed thanks to multiple minerals and vitamins (that need to be eaten, converted, absorbed and taken up by healthy cells).

We can test for imbalances but unfortunetelly most only look at the TSH which is only the feed back loop from the brain to the thyroid of the perceived thyroid in the body.

It does not reflect the currents effect of the thyroid hormones at the cellular level.

For this we need to run a full thyroid panel with T4, T3, FreeT4 and Free T3. And sometimes Reverse T3 if you have symptoms.

When the thyroid is suffering the best is to act on the adrenal via the HPATG axis (Hypothamamus, Pituitary,Adrenals, Thyroid, Gonads).

Cortisol imbalance is often at play as when cortisol is low the active T3 thyroid hormones do not enter the cells, but when cortisol is too high... stress impairs and creates oxidation.

We thrive in a balanced environment.
